What does the future look like for young people right now? What causes concern and what gives hope? What kind of society should Finland be in order to be equitable and ecologically sustainable for everyone? What changes cannot wait, but must happen tomorrow?
Many young people living in Finland are losing faith in the future. The future is overshadowed by climate change, wars, poor employment prospects, mental health challenges, and growing inequality. Even in uncertain times, youth is characterised by the ability to see things in a new way and the desire to change the world. These resources should be fully utilised in order to build a sustainable society.
Securing the future of young people is a shared responsibility for all, and work must begin immediately. National Dialogues invite people of all ages and backgrounds living in Finland to discuss the tomorrow of young people.
